Wild Night in Mile HIGH CIty

One wild and crazy night in Mile High Denver, Colorado, the Denver Broncos won the AFC Championship. It all started at the very beginning kickoff. The Broncos kicked off to the Steelers. The Steelers fumble the football and the Broncos pick it up at the 15 yard line and run it into the endzone for a touchdown. The crowd goes crazy. The Broncos kickoff again, but to everyone's amazement the Steelers run it back for a 100 yard return for a touchdown. The Broncos get the ball back and start at their own 20 yard line. Three and out and the steelers take over at their 30 yard line. First pass from scrimmage is a 70 yard bomb. Rothslenberger to Randel El and the steelers lead 14-7. End of 1st quarter. 2nd quarter Plummer connects with with Rod Smith for a big gain to the 5 yard line of Pittsburgh. Steelers hold the Broncos to a field goal. 14-10 Steelers. Steelers fumble again and Broncos have the ball at mid field. Penalties, penalties, and more penalties put the broncos at their own 5 yard line. Plummer is sacked in the endzone for a safety. Steelers 16- 10. Elam connects on two long field goals of 50- and 55 yards. Halftime tied 16-16. 3rd quarter Broncos score quick with a 65 yard touchdown run from Mike Anderson. 23-16 Broncos. Steelers comeback fierce with a 80 yard sustained 14 play drive Bettis scores touchdown from 10 yards out. Steelers miss extra point. Broncos 23-22. Steelers kick 2 field goals to lead 28-23 after 3 quarters. Steelers do it again with Bettis 25 yard TD run. Steelers 35-23. Elam kicks 4 field goals to tie. Last field goal is 49 yards with no time remaining. 35-35 tie after 4. We go to overtime. Broncos win on kickoff return of 101 yards. 41-35
