The Broncos beat the Steelers in their own stadium, 24-21, for the AFC title......
Remember this headline posted in 1998????
Here is a little poem--
The Steelers are really big, they must pump a lot of iron.
They took it to the Colts, Indy fans were dying.
Now it's time the Broncos send the Steelers crying.
Invesco Field and the Mile High City will do their very best,
to send good vibes and strength to Jake and all the rest.
We gotta stop big Bettis and trip up Polamalu,
when fans mute Roethlisberger a victory we can do.
So play hard Champ and Lynch, Anderson, Bell and Lelie,
Elam, Smith and Gold a victory is what we need!
And know the team's supported by all of Denver Town.
Our house is rocking for you, We'll put the visitors down!

The Broncos will win because: Plummer, Smith, Bailey, Wilson, Lynch, Anderson and a host of other players, I could go on and on. But of course I'd be utterly ignorant if I don't list Shanahan, who, in my opinion will be honored as one of the greatest football coaches ever to walk the sidelines when it's all said and done.
First off, the Broncos have a intense defense that doesn't like to let up, forcing turnovers and that blitz just disrupts all quarterbacks they face.
Our Defense behaves like the days of "Orange Crush" and the lines of communication seem to be getting stronger and stronger between our offensive players. No one can rival our special teams' efforts.
Next, their special teams is on a roll. Their special teams caused turnovers in week 17 and their first round game. They are getting set and right in front of the punt return man and making them uneasy forcing turnovers. Even if the return man calls for a fair catch; you see the Broncos surrounding him which personally will make any one uncomfortable with 2 or 3 men watching him like he stole something.
For the offense, Jake Plummer's success this year with the 2nd best record in committing fewest turnovers. Honestly the Snake is getting it done not forcing passes and runs to get out of trouble. In that first season with the Broncos you could see he was uncomfortable. Now, being with the team for a few years you have seen his confidence level rise.
I know from a 'fan' aspect, we're sick of not being respected, so maybe there's alittle of the "show you" for the rest of the league. Oh! and one more thing:
They are a TEAM.
Even though I am a female, I watch ALL the football games every week. Keeping up with the games have only proven to and shown me that the Broncos ARE the best team, and we WILL take the AFC Championship....which will lead us to put ANOTHER Superbowl ring under our belt.....GO BRONCOS!!!!!
