Thornton High School junior to be,
Brittany "Baby Girl" Cruz
is a part of the Region 9 Jr. Olympic Boxing Team. The team will travel to Marquette, Mich., to compete in the National Junior Olympics Boxing on June 26.
Brittany will be returning to this years Nationals to seek the Gold Medal at the 132-pound weight class. Brittany defeated New Mexico boxer
Amanda Crispin
for the 132-pound regional title.
Last year Brittany was a silver medalist at 125 pounds at the National Junior Olympics.
Brittany's overall record is 12-2, including two straight Golden Gloves Championships, and a two-time state and regional Junior Olympic Champion.
We want towish Region 9 Boxing Team, which includes boxers from Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona, well!
Brittany
will represent Colorado and the City of Thornton well.

Home the gold!
