Diego Estremadoyro was named varsity soccer coach at Horizon High School, according to HHS athletics coordinator
Sally Sweet.
Estremadoyro is not new to the school, also serving as girls junior varsity coach soccer coach at HHS.
According to Estremadoyro, he is also the U17 boys and U16 girls coach for the NASA Explosion soccer youth clubs.
Before coming to Colorado, he spent six years as head soccer coach at North Miami Beach High School. He played college ball at the University of South Florida in Tampa and played professional for a short time with the American Professional Soccer League.
He replaces
Art Drotar, who was soccer coach at Horizon for 18 years.
