Horizon, Legacy earn top basketball seeds

The Horizon and Legacy girls basketball teams each earned top seeds in the Class 5A state basketball tournament.

Legacy (20-3) will host the winner of Overland and Mitchell while Horizon (19-4) will host the winner of Montbello and Wheat Ridge, with both games at 7 p.m. Feb. 23.

Legacy at Arvada West, 7 p.m. Feb. 22
Northglenn at Pine Creek, 7 p.m. Feb. 22
Sierra at Ranum, 7 p.m. Feb. 21

Pueblo West at Skyview, 7 p.m. Feb. 20
Brighton at Boulder, 7 p.m. Feb. 21
