THORNTON - Bear Creek held off Green Mountain for the Class 5A state gymnastics team title Nov. 2 at Thornton High School. It's the 10th title for Bear Creek, but the first since 1997.
Mountain Range's Anna Simmons captured her second-straight Class 4A individual title, and all-around title for the Mustangs, who are only in their second year of existence.
