News Release

Therasage Wellness Center will be at booth 1300 at the Denver Golf Expo 2006, Feb 10-12. All attendees are invited to come by for a free trial Therasage massage to experience the relaxing and revitalizing benefits of a Far-Infrared Heat massage and to help warm up their golf swing.

Perry Holmes, PGA Director of Instruction will be at the booth with the Therasage team.

Mr. Holmes states, “As Director of Instruction at Coal Creek Golf Course, I have found that after using the Therasage, my students exhibit a greater range of motion, a higher degree of flexibility and a faster recovery time.”

"Therasage Rx 7000 series of thermal massage beds is an ideal blend of Eastern holistic practices and Western technology,” says store owner Carol Barsch-Bontrager. “The bed uses helium gas bulbs to heat rollers made of premium jade. Then the rollers glide gently up and down the muscles in your back giving off Far-Infrared waves. There is also a volcanic composite mat that emits penetrating Far-Infrared Heat  up under your calves and feet or, on the 7001 series, there are additional rollers under that part of your legs.”

Bontrager noted that Far-Infrared is the invisible part of the light spectrum that comes from the sun and is perceived by the body as heat. Far-Infrared Heat is also emitted naturally from people’s bodies and has been used for thousands of years in healing practices.

People who have used the Therasage Rx Thermal Massage Beds report that their pain has eased, mobility has increased, recovery accentuated, rest and concentration improved, and they have generally felt revitalized.

The premium jade massage rollers are designed to apply gentle pressure to the body’s meridians, similar to the way acupressure works. And, massage in and of itself is known to reduce stress, relax the body and even to promote healing.

“People who have tried the Therasage Thermal Message beds are amazed at how effective they are at relieving pain and stress, and increasing mobility” says Bontrager. “We hope a lot of people take advantage of our free massage so they can feel for themselves how truly relaxing and revitalizing it is.”

The new Therasage Rx Thermal Massage Bed store at the southwest corner of 104th and Federal is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 7, Saturday 11:00 to 4, closed Sunday. There phone number is 303-465-4888. You can find out more about Therasage Rx Thermal Massage beds at http://www.TherasageWellness.com.
