Heat baseball team defends championship

The Heat Baseball team, a 13 year old competitive team from Thornton, claimed 1st place in the Steamboat Springs Mountain Magic Baseball Tournament on June 26-28, 2009. This was the 2nd consecutive year the Heat has taken 1st place in this tournament. The team went 6-0 over the weekend, which concluded with a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Chatfield Chargers.
