Thornton Thunder places 2nd in AAYBA World Series

The Thornton Baseball Association 10 and under Thunder Baseball team placed 2nd at the AAYBA Colorado World Series. Over 200 teams from 12 states competed in five age divisions in this year's AAYBA Colorado World Series Tournament. The Thunder finished their season with 40 wins and 16 losses. In addition the Thunder took first place in the USSSA Liberty Blast, the Super Series Spring Fling and the South Jeffco Spring National Invitational as well as placing second in three additional tournaments. The Thunder also finished the season ranked number 1 in Colorado in the USSSA points rankings. The Thunder will be holding tryouts for next year in September. Call 303.588.3569 for information.
