"It's not that complicated"
The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness has been stretched to the limit by a bloated, overreaching municipal government. Northglenners are hungry for leadership; in the home, in the churches, in the marketplace, and at every level of government. We want people to know where we stand and do what they say they are going to do.
If the leadership of the Northglenn City Council will stick to their principles of free market economy, this is the group of men and women that will return Northglenn to moral and economic prosperity.
Controversy has surrounded the City Council and the Shops at Webster Lake Project from the very beginning. The exclusion of the people who would be most affected by these massive changes is striking. The process is entirely being carried on in NURA, in secret, which leads to distrust. Northglenners don't take kindly to government doing ANYTHING behind our backs. This whole exercise has been an example of top-down management at it's very worst. There is a need for reform of government, not the market.
Freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, the right to keep and bear arms, private property rights and the privacy of our persons, our homes, and our papers; all of these are God-given liberties that the government didn't give to us, and can't take away. This guarantee of our life, our liberty and our property is the foundation of everything that is good about America, everything that is good in Northglenn.
The key to restoring respect and trust for our government is to return to our conservative roots. It is obvious that our liberal "friends" are not up to the task.
The middle of the road voter who swings the elections aren't paying attention to how their elected Senators and elected Representatives vote. They are paying attention to surface, instead of substance.
Freedom isn't free, and liberty isn't cheap.
Get involved; do your part.
