Bio: During his 30- year career, Bakke has covered events ranging from Pope John Paul's World Youth Day visit, the World Series and the Super Bowl to insect infestation in Utah and firestorms in Montana and Wyoming.

Bakke started freelancing in 1984 after a long newspaper career including roles as chief photographer at the Denver (Colo.) Post and staff photographer at the Topeka (Ks.) Capital- Journal and the Idaho Statesman.

He has been a contributing photographer to eight Day in the Life book projects and is regularly published in national and international magazine... more
