Bio: Golden once was the capital of the territories in the Colorado area, but lost that position to Denver when statehood was achieved. Golden, like many western towns was founded during the gold rush, but also like other western towns, the first inhabitants were Native American tribes. This area has been frequented by the Ute, Arapaho and Cheyenne tribes, and early trappers. Spirits in the Wind Gallery, one of the finest Western
Art Galleries in Colorado, pays homage to the rich history of this land its people with Premier Art of the NewWest.
