Bio: I was born, grew up, then discovered YourHub.com and was born again. As a 12 year old I went to South Africa and took my parents and two brothers along. Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa, hosted me until I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Zoology & Entomology, then I went to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) where I was an Entomologist in the Tsetse Control Branch of the Government Dept. of Veterinary Services. Living in a tent in the African bush for 25 days a month is a great leveler. Marriage ended my bush days and I ended up in the food canning and packaging business for over a decade. ( I once had a great recipe for gooseberry jam.)

Moving to Colorado in 1980, I now live in the Hidden River II subdivision of Parker. I am a member of the Parker Artist's Guild. I enjoy photography and have taken it seriously since going digital eight years ago. I love writing, publishing booksa nd giving slide presentations to service or non-profit organisations or business groups on topics of Africa and its wildlife.

Hobbies (in no particular order) are: keeping up with five children (all in their 30's), grandkids (6 so far), creating books, travel, photography, wildlife, playing bridge, running/walking/sitting, reading (prefer biographies) and writing. Alternate hobby: Sudoku puzzles with increasing tendency towards blogging.

There is no truth in the rumor that I am related to the new Broncos head coach. He spells his name wrong.
