I've haven't seen to many butterflies in my lifetime. Being from Wyoming, most of the butterflies are these cute tiny white butterflies or moths, which aren't butterflies at all. According to Wikipedia.com, the difference between moths and butterflies has been
argued among taxonomists for years.
But I took a visit to the
Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster on Aug. 23 and I had an absolute blast.
Never before in my lifetime have I ever been in a giant green house filled with several different species of butterflies.
Of course, before I went into the
Tropical Conservatory, I had to walk past the creepy
Crawl-A-See-'Em, which is filled with tarantulas, leaf insects, scorpions, beetles, giant millipedes and cockroaches! EEEWWW!
Check out some of the photos I took while I was up there.
