Girl Talk
I am new to Denver, a recent college graduate in Journalism. This blog will talk about all the random thoughts that cross a 23-year-old female's mind. My interests are in art, theater and writing and I would like to share that with you, my neighbors. I enjoy being with my friends, my two cats, Jack and Cessie, and plan on experiencing all the fun things to do in Denver.

I've haven't seen to many butterflies in my lifetime. Being from Wyoming, most of the butterflies are these cute tiny white butterflies or moths, which aren't butterflies at all. According to Wikipedia.com, the difference between moths and butterflies has been
argued
among taxonomists for years.
But I took a visit to the
Butterfly Pavilion
in Westminster on Aug. 23 and I had an absolute blast.
Never before in my lifetime have I ever been in a giant green house filled with several different species of butterflies.
Of course, before I went into the
Tropical Conservatory
, I had to walk past the creepy
Crawl-A-See-'Em
, which is filled with tarantulas, leaf insects, scorpions, beetles, giant millipedes and cockroaches! EEEWWW!
Check out some of the photos I took while I was up there.

I like Nos. 1 and 13 the best. I'd hate to be hanging out with all those cockroaches.
