Wisdom Through Tarot
Contributed by: Judy Barton   on 3/13/2008

Each of us has an Inner Guide that is an integral part of who we are. When we seek it's counsel through the tarot,
we send a signal that we are open to its wisdom. This simple act of faith allows us to become aware of the guidance and direction that is always there for us. The tarot is a tool which assists us in making the voice of our Inner Guide more available to our conscious mind.

By nature, we are designed to embrace the insight offered by our Inner Guide, but may have forgotten
how to access it. We trust the vision of our conscious minds instead, and forget to look deeper. Our conscious minds are clever, but don't hold the total awareness needed to make the most appropriate choices.

When operating from our conscious minds, we often feel as if we are directed by outside forces with little control over the events in our lives. We seem to lose our objective and suffer because we do not truly understand who we are or our basic needs and desires. Seeking the direction of our Inner Guide, allows us to become whole and feel more content in our life experiences. We gain the certainty and peace that comes with aligning our conscious will with our inner purpose. Our path becomes more rewarding, and we see more clearly how to integrate the scattered elements of our lives to define our goals and fulfill our destiny.
