Affie Ellis cured my apathy!!

For the past several years (nearly 2 decades actually) my interest and involvement in all matters political has eroded away to the point where I thought I was no longer capable of caring what went on in local politics.

All of that changed 2 weeks ago when I was introduced to Affie Ellis who is running for the State House of Representatives in HD 29 against incumbent Debbie Benefield.
My conversation with Affie has sparked hope within me that change may actually be possible and that there are in fact others in the world who share my views and opinions. I recommend visiting her website at www.AffieEllis.com and I also recommend reviewing the Blue Book Ballot Analysis for explanation of Ballot Issues and arguments both for and against them.

This Blog is an experiment in which I would like to encounter civil, intelligent, and eloquent adults with whom to engage in actual conversation. I would like to invite any and every person who visits to freely express his or her opinion.
