Fear, Faith and Security
Contributed by: Rona Bradley on 9/22/2008

What:
Religion can help provide a sense of security in an uncertain world, particularly important in today's culture of fear. Explore the guidance provided by Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Humanist and other traditions on ways to approach our issues of fear and security in a humane and faithful way. Participants will engage with the concept of security at personal and societal levels, acknowledge various perspectives, explore their own theology or philosophy of security and consider social
justice/social action implications of security issues.
