Historic Preservation Celebration

What:
Join us for a grand celebration of the restoration of
Westminster's First Town Hall-1911-1913
This was our first Town Hall originally located on the Fred Strawson property at 7441 Bradburn Blvd. The building also served as our first Court House as Mr. Strawson was our police magistrate. Due to the efforts of Henry Colling and his Eagle project the Town Hall has been restored to it's original state.The Colling Family has locally landmarked the building.
Historic Preservation Award
The 2008 historic preservation award goes to Linda Sweitzer for her efforts in restoring and maintaining the historic Margaret O'Gorman house at 8198 Irving street. Due to her dedication this property is now locally landmarked.
Twentieth Anniversary of the Bowles House Museum
The museum was established in 1988 after school children saved the building from destruction. Listed on the National Historic Registry.
Bring your family and friends. Enjoy songs by the "Yester Year Singers" from the early 1900's.
