WINGS Definition of Sexual Abuse and Incest:
WINGS adopts a broad definition of sexual abuse. Sexual abuse occurs when a person's physical or emotional self is violated through sexual actions such as pornographic picture taking, indecent exposure, lewd comments, sexual innuendos, fondling and intercourse. Childhood sexual abuse occurs when the victim is under the age of 18, and is identified as such regardless of the age of the perpetrator or the relationship between the victim and the perpetrator, when abuse includes any of the above behaviors.
