What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS Join the Westminster Fire Department on July 4 for fishing, fire trucks, firefighters and fun! The Westminster Fire Department will again host a Fishing Derby on Independence Day at City Park Lake, just north of the City Park Recreation Center at 105th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard. The event kicks off at 8 a.m. with youth ages 15 and younger competing for biggest fish, first fish and most unusual catch prizes. Hot dogs and other refreshments will be served beginning at 11 a.m., prizes will be presented at 11:30 a.m., and the event wraps up at noon. Call 303-430-2400, ext. 4500, for more information.
