CARA Cross Country Program Ages 6-14

What:	The Northglenn Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services is offering a new and exciting Cross Countryprogram for Ages 6-14. The ages groups will be divided 10 & younger and 11-14. The distances will be 1k-4k (.62 miles-2.48 miles) depending on age group. Practices will be Tuesday/Thursday beginning August 26th and meets will be on Saturdays or Sundays beginning September 14th. The cost is $45 for residents and $50 for non-residents and includes team shirt. CARA (Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics) main goal is development of skills, sportsmanshiip, participation, and assuring that each participant experiences a degree of success. CARA cross country is starting its 2nd year of running and is a part of CARA track. Please visit www.carasports.com.
