Automated "DVD PLAY" machines that rip you off.
Contributed by: Ross Echtermeyer on 9/18/2008

Back in June, I visited the local Safeway at 73rd and Federal and decided to rent a Movie, from the "DVD Play" Machine, so after swiping my Credit Card, the Machine finally responded with "Unable to Process transaction" "Transaction failed".

I Being Deaf and unable to make a phone call to report the problem, I just assumed that since the transaction failed, there was nothing to worry about...So I left and later went to Walmart and successfully rented the same Movie that I tried to rent at "DVD Play" at Safeway and returned it the next day to Walmarts REDBOX. machine.

3 Months later I get an E Mail from "DVD Play" telling me that $25.86 was debited from my account for failing to return the Movie??????

I then looked up my E Mail reciept proving my return to verify I returned it only to find out that "DVD Play" and "REDBOX" are two separate businesses and then remembered the failed attempt to rent and recieve a movie from the "DVD Play" Machine at Safeway.

All attempts by me to resolve the issue and get my money refunded have failed. I have no proof of anything..and They have my CC number. I am on S.S.D. I cannot afford this... I will never use another Automated CC machine EVER. So beware... My advice is to cut up your CC's and pay only cash..
