Where does Ellis stand?
Contributed by: Cindy Kirby on 10/29/2006

Re: "Glitch leads to attack ad; Ellis' response online gives Dems issue to target in House race" October 26, 2006 Rocky Mountain News

In this article Ellis claims she answered questions about government's role in lowering drug costs and addressing the number of uninsured Coloradoans "declined to answer" because she needed more time to work on her answers.

With just over a week until the election, when does she plan to have answers? Her website has no answers. In fact healthcare appears nowhere on her 9 item priority list. Apparently traffic congestion is a far more pressing issue for Ellis than the health of Colorado's children and senior citizens.

New to Colorado and House District 29, Ellis seems to be more concerned about her "tarnished reputation" than the well being of her neighbors.

If, unlike Ellis, you are concerned about healthcare, public schools and the economy vote for Representative Debbie Benefield. Do some research. On Benefield's website you will find detailed information on her legislative record and position on these issues.

As a long time resident of HD29, Benefield has served her community well. Despite facing daily attack ads, Benefield knows she will always be at home in HD29. She will continue to keep her promises to improve healthcare, education and quality of life for all Coloradoans.
