Australian-Based Intellection Corp Establishes North and South American Headquarters in Denver Area

Westminster, CO - Intellection Corp., a global leader in automated mineral analysis solutions, announces its senior management team for its North and South American operations, based out of Westminster, CO.

Bob Williams serves as general manager and an officer in the company, Daren Jensen as vice president of sales, and Valerie Richardson as vice president business operations. Each person has responsibility throughout North and South America, including the operations in Santiago, Chile.

Bob Williams comes to Intellection following more than 30 years in operations, sales & marketing, market & business development, corporate account management, channel development and industrial plant operations. Mr. Williams was formerly president of the Americas region for Leica Geosystems and prior to that held senior positions with Invensys PLC and Siemens Energy and Automation. His strengths have been cultivated in high-precision measurement technologies in geospatial market segments, comprising surveying measurement, civil and structural engineering, high definition scanning, construction machine automation, through to mining and agriculture. Receiving his education from the University of Kansas, Mr. Williams' past industry affiliations have included chairman of the board of directors - Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA); founding chair - Intelligent & Automated Building Council; executive steering committee member - Council on Tall Buildings & Urban Habitat (CTBUH); corporate member - British Council for Offices; industry representative - CTBUH World Trade Center Task Force, and national member - Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA).

Daren Jensen brings to Intellection more than 20 years of experience in sales management and business development. Mr. Jensen previously served as director of sales for North America for Thermo Fisher Scientific. He has also served in other executive management positions with Siebel Systems, BEST Software and Baxter Healthcare. He has extensive international experience having worked in Hong Kong, Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Canada and Argentina. Mr. Jensen graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a degree in Computer Science and holds a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.

Valerie Richardson is a business and marketing executive with experience building and leading strategic planning, marketing, mergers & acquisitions, business development, sales and customer service teams and programs for several large multi-national corporations. Ms. Richardson has demonstrated successes in developing and formulating strategies as well as detailed implementation plans. She is an experienced communicator with audiences including end customers, channel parents, suppliers, the investment community and employees. She has work and project experience in North & South America, Asia and Europe, having lived and worked both inside and outside the United States. Ms. Richardson has most recently served as vice president of the construction business for Leica Geosystems, Inc. She holds an MBA in finance from North Central College, and master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology and a bachelor's degree in journalism, both from Drake University. She also holds certification from Northwestern University as a graduate of their Senior Leadership Program.
