North Metro Denver REALTOR® Assn. Recognizes Top CARHOF Donors

In June, the North Metro Denver REALTOR® Association (NMDRA) in Broomfield recognized the top donors of funds to CARHOF (Colorado Association of REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Foundation) for the year of 2007.

The top real estate offices were ReMax Horizons and Tara Realty LLC. ReMax Horizons has five locations, Broomfield, Flatirons, Stapleton, Denver and Firestone, and is owned and managed by Mark Marone. Tara Realty LLC is located in Castle Rock.

The top title company was Guardian Title. They have a new office located at 120 th & Federal in Westminster.

The top builder was McStain Homes in Boulder.

These companies participate in CARHOF by depositing earnest money checks into an interest bearing account and those funds are distributed through grants to recipients in the Metro North area, such as Habitat for Humanity, Access Housing, Almost Home, Sense of Security, Thistle Community Housing, to name a few. CARHOF was created to help support homeless programs, crisis shelters, construct affordable housing and down payment assistance programs in Colorado.

CARHOF continues to be one of Colorado's most reliable affordable housing resources. Since 1990, this nonprofit foundation has helped thousands of Colorado residents restore and build a better way of life. To date CARHOF has given over $5.8 million in grants to nonprofit housing organizations.
