Westminster, CO (February 13, 2008) - American Eagle Outfitters, Rock Bottom and Victoria's Secret are among the 39 new tenants coming to The Orchard Town Center. Retailers, jewelry stores, restaurants and quick-service eateries were also announced today by Forest City Commercial Group, the developer of the 983,000-square-foot Orchard Town Center, a pedestrian-friendly lifestyle village being built at the intersection of I-25 and 144th Avenue.

Scheduled to open in Spring 2008, The Orchard Town Center will become a true gathering place for Westminster and Thornton residents, serving a growing population. The following is a list of new retailers: Aéropostale, American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, The Body Shop, Chico's, Christopher & Banks, C.J. Banks, Claire's, Crepes De Paris, Cuppy's Coffee, dELiA*s, Eddie Bauer, Finish Line, GNC, Gymboree, Happy Sumo, Kay Jewelers, Lane Bryant, Lenscrafters, Limited Too, Mexico, Motherhood Maternity, Origins, PacSun, Payless ShoeSource, Rock Bottom, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory/Häagen Dazs, Select Comfort, Sports Fan Outlet, Sunglass Hut, Tilly's, Torrid, Verizon Wireless, Victoria's Secret, White House | Black Market, Woodland's, Zales and Zumiez.

"These tenants will be an excellent addition to Macy's, JC Penney, AMC Theatres and SuperTarget," said Nancy Rezac, General Manager of The Orchard Town Center. "With a unique mix of national and local retailers, The Orchard Town Center will meet the needs of visitors with varying interests and of different age groups."

The Orchard Town Center is located just over three miles from Adams, Weld and Boulder counties, where statistics indicate that the population will grow by 70,000 between years 2006 through 2012. "Westminster and Thornton have been proactive in ensuring that the community will be well served with The Orchard Town Center," said Rezac. "In addition, the new interchange on I-25 will give residents and those in the surrounding community convenient access to meet their everyday shopping needs."

Designed in classic prairie craftsmanship, The Orchard Town Center will be pedestrian-friendly, outdoor lifestyle village with exceptional options in shopping, dining and entertainment. The Orchard Town Center will offer 80-100 retail establishments when fully built out in an environment that invites lingering, relaxing and socializing. The project is being developed by Forest City Commercial Group and the City of Westminster.

The Grand Opening will take place Thursday, April 3, with activities taking place during the weekend. "Stores will be opening throughout the spring and summer in a 'rolling' opening with new surprises each month," said Rezac. "This will be an exciting year for shoppers in Westminster and surrounding areas," she added.

The Orchard Town Center will be an exciting and fun place to shop. I am looking forward to Macy's as it will be filled with fabulous new merchandise. This new shopping experience will be so much easier to get to right off of I-25 and 144th. We do need RTD accessability. Does anyone know of any plans for this?
