Caribou Coffee opens first store in Westminster

Nation's Premier Specialty Coffee Company Opens Its First Coffee Shop in Westminster

The nation's second largest non-franchised coffee company, Caribou Coffee, debuted in Westminster at 2721 120th Avenue at the intersection of Federal Blvd. Colorado is the farthest west that the Minneapolis-based company has expanded, and the Westminster store is the fifth to open in the Denver area in the past year and features a convenient drive-thru window. Brad Ahrens is the store manager.

Caribou Coffee currently operates stores in 14 states, including Minnesota, North Carolina, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Nebraska, and the District of Columbia. Caribou Coffee is also the exclusive coffee served on all Denver-based Frontier Airlines domestic flights.
