The Denver Northwest Market Center of Keller Williams Realty (9191 Sheridan Blvd., Suite 310, Westminster) announced that Realtor Tammy Marasia recently attended the Keller Williams Mega Camp in Austin, TX.
"Keller Williams Realty is committed to providing agents with targeted training and tools designed to build their businesses," said Heidi Greer-Mosher, Team Leader for the Denver Northwest Market Center. "The Mega Agent Camp is another excellent training component that our company provides to its Realtors."
The annual week-long Mega Camp attracted more than 5,000 associates and guests. Keller Williams University's new
Lead Generation 36:12:3course was introduced at Mega Camp, providing a proven pathway for agents to close at least
36 transactions in
12 months by committing to
3 hours every workday on lead generation.
"At Mega Camp, they emphasized making lead generation a daily discipline and getting back to relationships-not numbers," commented Marasia. "For example, a simple thing like taking a client or vendor out to lunch once a week can make a significant difference.
"One of the most important items I took away was to keep my mind set positive, despite all the negative publicity surrounding the real estate industry recently. You should continue to know the market but not let it affect you. Doing positive things, like attending training classes with peers, will create a positive attitude," finished Marasia.
This Keller Williams Realty event also featured a fundraiser for KW Cares, a nonprofit created to support associates throughout North America during times of severe hardship. The fundraiser, which included a Kenny Loggins concert, grossed more than $250,000.
With more than 78,000 agents and 655 franchised Market Centers in 45 states and provinces, Keller Williams Realty International is now America's fourth-largest and fastest-growing residential real estate company. Keller Williams Realty franchised the Colorado Region in 1993 and has succeeded by creating a unique agent-focused model that builds partnerships between agents and local ownership through participation in a life-long, profit sharing program. In 2006, Keller Williams Realty International shared more than $52 million in profits with its agents.
In Colorado, the company has 28 locations and more than 3,200 agents. In 2006, Keller Williams agents achieved a sales volume of more than $3.8 billion. For more information, contact Team Leader Heidi Greer-Mosher at 303-420-2121 or visit
