"Green" Car News

Green cars are big.
Auto manufacturers are introducing more new cars that are fuel efficient, run on hybrid motors (gas and electric), run on flex fuels (gas or E85), or clean diesel. Now you can see them and learn more about the future of "green" cars in these upcoming events:

FIRST EVENT-Fun family activity for Easter
Green Car Parade -- 30-40 cars from 10 manufacturers
2-3:30pm, Sunday, March 23
State Capitol Circle Drive
30-40 Green cars on "static" parade
At 3:30pm, cars parade to the Colorado Convention Center
U.S. Congressman Ed Perlmutter (D), District 7, will attend the Green Car Parade

FREE to the public
For kids: Costumed Easter rabbits handing out candy


SECOND EVENT
Green Car Summit
1-4pm, Monday, March 24
Colorado Convention Center, Room 301
Learn about green car technologies -- now and for the future --from national experts and industry representatives

Laura Dooley, manager, state government affairs, Alliance of Automotive Manufacturers
