Student teaches P.E. class in the Swamp
Contributed by: Heather Carnes on 3/2/2008

It is very rare to see a student teaching a class. Senior Jaime Golden is lucky enough to be one of those students so singled out.

Last semester, Jaime was put into a freshman team sports class, but because she was so passionate about dancing, Ms. Martin made her a TA in the fall dance class. "In the past, we have had professionals from outside the school come in a few times and teach the classes different styles of dance. We were very fortunate to find the talent within our own school," said Ms. Martin.

With experience in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, character and lyrical dance, it's no wonder why Jaime's students respect her so. "The girls responded to her and had a blast!" said Martin.
