March on Capitol for the turtle

Skyline Vista Elementary students marched on Denver on Jan. 22 to testify in front of the State Committee where they advocated for the Western Painted Turtle to be the State reptile.

Students making the presentation were Horacio Duarte Bernal, Amy Loi, Jessica Hernandez, Joel Nunez, Ronnie Yanker, and Sabrina Herrera. They are members of Mr. Jay Baichi's class.
