Jake and Charlie are thirty-something's who meet while working as extras on a film production of "The Quiet Valley" being shot in rural Ireland. Charlie, whose video shop in Ballycastle has gone bankrupt, and Jake, who has returned to Kerry after a futile few years in the US, see this movie as a wonderful break from worrying about their futures. But as Hollywood overruns the rural Irish village the culture clash between arrogant cast and crew and underemployed Irish locals is inevitable, and inevitably hilarious.
In this tongue-in-cheek comedy the lives of 15 extraordinary characters are brought to life by two actors, Seth Miasel and Austin Terrell, under the direction of Wade P. Wood.
