, Chabad of Westminster will be hosting the 1st Annual Gala Event benefiting the Ross Albert Camp Scholarship Fund. It will feature Scott Friedman, a motivational humorist with over twenty-three years experience. It will be held at the MaDcap Theatre, located at the Westminster Promenade -
10679 Westminster Boulevard
. The Gala Event coincides with the second anniversary of the death of Ross Albert.
Ross Albert passed away
May 13, 2006
at age 13 of CardioMyopathy. Even through his illness his spirits were always high and he was an inspiration to all who met him. Ross was always up for an adventure and always making new friends. In his honor, the Ross Albert Camp Scholarship Fund was created to help economically disadvantaged children experience a summer they will never forget.
Scott Friedman will be opening the minds of many with his positive, uplifting humor at the Gala Event. He has performed over 2,000 speeches in the last twenty-three years and brings a cultural diversity that the audience can identify with. He teaches how to use humor in the workplace and at home to promote well-being and cohesiveness.
