No peaches, anywhere, are as good as the ones from Colorado's Western Slope. Particularly the ones available through the Westminster 7:10 Rotary Club.
Tree ripened, carefully hand picked and boxed, in 10# or 18# boxes, they are beautifully ripe and ready for eating, cooking, or freezing.
The club sells these to help raise funds for club projects, so you not only get great peaches but your purchases also help support Computers for Kids (close to 6,000 given to needy kids so far), Dictionaries for Third Graders (close to 1,500 last year), scholarships for FRCC and other colleges, support of youth leadership programs and a host of other good works in the community.
To order peaches call Lynn or Karen Hoffman, at 303-465-1753, no later than August 6, and plan to pick them up at the peach party on August 22, at 9981 Wagner Lane in Westminster. 10# boxes are $23 and 18# boxes are $28.
