JOIN US FOR THE "SEW PINK FASHION SHOW"
FASHION, FUN and HEALTH TO HIGHLIGHT BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
This Saturday, please join us for our first-ever "Sew Pink" Fashion Show at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, an event geared to educate women of all age groups about the importance of preventing breast cancer. Aside from non-melanoma skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women.
The event starts at 11:00 a.m. with tours and an educational expo, to help women learn about the causes and treatments for breast cancer. A breast cancer survivor will speak at noon, and at 12:30, the models will sashay down the Sew Pink runway.
Denver's hottest designers and boutiques will show off the latest trends, and fashions will be modeled by women in our community ranging in age from teenagers to 91 years old! Models include breast cancer patients and survivors, physicians and employees. There's something for everyone, from casual clothes for hanging out with friends, to more upscale looks for holiday cocktail parties.
Featured designers include: Adornment, CHICOS, Hay-Lo Reconstructed, Kismet Accessories, Lovely, Max & Me, Mona Lucero, Nancy Sedar Designs, Ollie Sang, and Sarah.
Tickets to the event cost $15 for the first ticket, and $10 for each additional ticket. Proceeds benefit the Exempla Lutheran Breast Cancer Care Center, which offers digital mammography screening. Patients benefit from clearer images and shorter wait-times to secure appointments. The Breast Care Center also offers breast MRI imaging, and biopsy services.
Please join us this Saturday, and invite your friends!
