Fifteen different locations have been made available for local
residents to participate in the City of Westminster’s annual Holiday
Charity Drive to assist folks in need in the Westminster area.
Bruce
Black, a lieutenant with the Westminster Fire Department is excited
about the prospects of this year’s success for local residents in need.
As the facilitator of the drive, Lieutenant Black has identified 15
locations throughout Westminster where donations can be given.
The
Holiday Charity Drive is seeking donations of gently used clothing and
toys as well as non-perishable foods of any kind. The City of
Westminster has identified three organizations in the community that
are in need and is working to get the donations to them. They are the
Jefferson County Foster Care, Have A Heart Project in District 50, and
the Westminster Outreach Food Bank.
