Scouts from Westminster Presbyterian Church celebrate

The members of Boy Scout Troop 324 and Cub Scout Pack 324 are having a 50-year anniversary celebration along with their chartering partner, Westminster Presbyterian Church.

The city of Westminster will be issuing a proclamation about our 50-year celebration on Sept. 25 at the Westminster City Council meeting.

The anniversary celebration will be held at the church at 74th Avenue and Bradburn Boulevard in Westminster on Sept. 30 from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be a short program with various speakers. Cake and refreshments will follow the program

During the last 50 years, the pack has had many Arrow of Light awards presented to WEBELO's Scouts who graduated into Troop 324. Troop 324 is proud of the 90 or more Boy Scoutswho have earned their Eagle rank since the troop started back in 1956. We are proud that Westminster Presbyterian Church has been there as our chartering partner during these 50 years. We also are proud of the 13 Silver Beaver Awards that have been presented to adults associated with the troop.

If you were a member of either the pack or the troop, we hope to see you at our celebration. It is such an honor for us.
