Adams County School District 50 is proud to announce that Dr. Pamela Swanson, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). "This is an outstanding accomplishment for Dr. Swanson and our district," said Dr. Roberta Selleck, Superintendent of Adams District 50. "Dr. Swanson demonstrates her leadership daily and this designation acknowledges publicly the expertise displayed by Dr. Swanson and other HR professionals."
All certifications awarded by the HRCI signify that an individual possesses the theoretical knowledge and strong background of professional human resource experience necessary to pass a rigorous examination demonstrating a mastery of the body of knowledge in the field. "Pam is a leader in our district and the HR industry," states Selleck. "As one of only 1,133 professionals in Colorado to earn this designation, she serves as a beacon in our lighthouse, setting an example for others and lighting the way. "
HRCI is the credentialing body for human resource professionals and is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest organization dedicated exclusively to the human resource profession. HRCI's purpose is to promote the establishment of professional standards and to recognize professionals who meet those standards
"Certification as a human resource professional clearly demonstrates a commitment to personal excellence and the human resource profession," said Susan Meisinger, SPHR, President and CEO of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) offers three certifications through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), which are recognized across all industries. They include Professional Human Resources (PHR), Global Human Resources (GRM) and Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certifications.
