Guess Who's Turning 30????
On 8/21/2005
Contributed by: Claire Standard on 8/16/2005

Renee (Standard) Ortiz is turning 30 on August 21st!  Renee grew up in Westminster with her older brother Gary.  She attended Zerger Elementary, Moore Junior High, and Pomona High School.  There was a surprise birthday party for her given by her husband and son on July 30th at her parent's home where her surprise gift was her cousin, Kristin Less, who flew in from Tallahassee to be with the birthday girl!  It was a fun time for all the family.  Guests included Tammy (Badding) Baloun, Jonathan Badding, Holly Lopez and Stacey McKissack who grew up with Renee.  Renee has given so much grief to everyone who turned 30 before her that this was great payback time!  Nay, you're 30!!!!!!!!!!!!

Renee has lived in Westminster these 30 years (with time in Las Vegas where she met her husband - Las Vegas has never been the same!), married Ramiro Ortiz on May 8, 1999 and had the most wonderful son, Aidan Joel, on December 1, 2002.

She is a blessing and joy to her parents, Gary and Claire Standard.  Our little girl with pig tails has grown into a beautiful and amazing woman in 30 years (notice how we're managing to get as many "30's" in as possible??!!)  She is very special to her brother Gary and his wife Devan.  It's still very hard to believe this "little girl" will be 30 years old on August 21.

Renee, happy birthday and we all love you so very much!

Mom, Dad, Gary, Devan, Ramiro and Aidan Joel
