Brianna Sanelli, a Senior at
Holy Family High School, has been awarded the
Girl Scout Gold Award for her literacy project with the Rocky Mountain SER/Head Start. This award is the highest award in Girl Scouting! Brianna worked with 20 preschoolers, developed and distributed a photo A-B-C book and raised funds to donate more than 80 new preschool books to Denver Head Start to enhance their early childhood education libraries. Brianna will receive her award along with 48 other distinguished Colorado Girl Scouts at a ceremony to be held on April 28th.
She is a 13 year member of Girl Scout Troop #1302, one of four Girl Scout troops based at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Westminster. She has been accepted with a Board of Trustees Scholarship and Catholic High School Award to attend Regis University where she plans for a career in Pharmacy. She is the daughter of Ernest and Carol Sanelli of Arvada.
