Congram is Hidden Lake student of the month

On March 28, at a breakfast meeting at Ciancio's Restaurant at 94th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard, the Westminster Optimist Club honored Hidden Lake High School student Alexander Congram for being selected the student of the month.

The Hidden lake staff selects students based on outstanding scholastic achievement, excellent attitude and attendance. The club presented Alexander with a framed certificate, a special key chain and a booklet to preserve mementos.

Alexander is the son of Anthony and Amal Congram and is a sophomore at Hidden Lake High School. He is a role model excellent student and a member of the ROTC. In addition to his studies, he is an Irish dancer, he plays the flute, he is learning to fly and enjoys swimming and scuba diving. After graduation, Alexander has plans to study electronics and computers and to join the Air Force.

Ann Heim is the secretary/treasurer for the Westminster Optimist Club.
