Contributed by: St. Anthony's North on 4/15/2008

WESMINSTER, CO, April 15, 2008...St. Anthony North Hospital, 2551 West 84th Avenue in Westminster, Colorado is offering a community education class, "Boys to Men."

Growing up is a continuum of change. Boys who are becoming men will benefit from careful guidance for healthy social and emotional development. Knowing what to expect during this important part of life will equip young men for making healthy choices, especially regarding sexuality.

Parents, grandparents, or Big Brothers are invited to accompany their sons, ages 11 to 15 to this class which will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 6:30 to 8 pm. The location is St. Anthony North Hospital, Aspen Room A.

This is a time to explore effective communication and important adult-young man relationships. The presenter is Kevin Fitzgerald, MD, a family practice physician who is especially sensitive to the needs of young men during these years. There is a materials fee of $15 per son.

To register, or for more information regarding the class, call St. Anthony North ASK-A-NURSE at 303-777-6877.
