Incidents reported by Westminster Police Department
A 19-year-old Westminster woman was arrested for suspicion of assault, battery and failure to pay fines after allegedly attacking her sister's boyfriend at the 3400 block of Kellogg Place in Westminster at 4:45 p.m. Oct. 25. The 19-year-old had allegedly gotten into an argument with her 20-year-old sister, who she was living with. The 19-year-old allegedly told the 20-year-old that she wished the sister wasn't pregnant so she beat her up. At this point, the 20-year-old's 23-year-old boyfriend got between the two women. The 19-year-old then allegedly attacked the 23-year-old man. During the altercation, the man was allegedly hit in the face and neck and bitten on his side under his armpit, while the 19-year-old was put in a headlock and got a swollen lip. After police arrived, it was discovered the 19-year-old had unpaid fines in Denver County.
An 18-year-old Westminster woman reported an allegedly drunken person harassing her at 3:10 a.m. Oct. 25 at her residence at the 8600 block of Circle Drive in Westminster. The first time, a friend confronted the subject, who allegedly said he was going to burn the house down. A little while later, the same man came again, but no one answered the door. He again allegedly said that he was going to burn the house down. The woman had moved into the residence in early October and believed the suspect was looking fora formerresident.
