Police blotter: Meth puts man in rage

Incidents reported by Westminster Police Department

A Mountain Range High School student was cited for interference with staff, faculty or students at the school, 12500, Huron St. in Westminster, at 7:51 a.m. Nov. 2. According to the report, other MRHS students became alarmed when the student kicked on the outside door of the cafeteria to be let in, and then wrote "Kill all for all" and "The elemental rule applies as I or all must die." The student was contacted by school security and police. No weapons were found on the student or in any location where he had been.

A 29-year-old Denver man was arrested for suspicion of assault in the third degree, theft by receiving and marijuana possession at the 10600 block of Westminster Boulevard at 12:45 a.m. Nov. 3. According to the report, the man assaulted two women after they had gotten into an altercation with two female acquaintances of the man at Que Bueno, 10633 Westminster Blvd. The man tried to flee, but when police detained the man, they found marijuana and a gun that was reported stolen out of Denver County in his car. The man was also out on parole after serving time for burglary.

A 38-year-old Denver man was arrested for prohibited use of weapons and disorderly conduct at Splitz bowling alley, 10685 Westminster Blvd., at 8:15 p.m. Nov. 1. According to the report, the man had gotten into a physical altercation with another man in the parking, and witnesses noticed a gun in the back of his pants. The man drove away but was pulled over by police. The gun was still in the back of his pants. The man went down to his hands and knees as instructed by police, but then he started to reach back for his gun, at which time the man was forced to the ground. The gun was taken away. The man had an alcohol rating of .124.

A 55-year-old Denver man was arrested for stealing $210 worth of gloves from Dillards, 5301 W. 88th Ave. in Westminster, at 10:40 a.m. Nov. 1.

A 27-year-old Westminster man was arrested for battery at 3:10 a.m. Nov. 1 at the 8600 block of Zuni St. in Westminster. According to the report, the man was high on some narcotic, likely methamphetimines. He was ranting and raving and screaming, and as neighbors tried to stop him, he would start fighting with them. One of the men he fought with chipped his tooth and cut his face.
