Contributed by: WPD on 12/14/2007

Reports from the Westminster Police Department.

A hit and run was reported at the corner of 92 nd Place and 93 rd Avenue at 6:40 a.m. Dec. 6.

A fight amongst juveniles was reported at Carroll Butts Park, 9427 Perry St. in Westminster, at 4:55 p.m. Dec. 6. Initially there was a report of gunfire, but that was denied by many witnesses. Some of the juveniles said they had been assaulted, but said they didn't know who their attackers were.

A 24-year-old Commerce City woman reported that a former lover's wife ran her car into the woman's car three times at 10:25 p.m. Dec. 5 at Conoco, 7995 Federal Blvd. in Westminster. The woman had a relationship with the husband, a 34-year-old from Denver, for approximately two months while he was estranged from his wife, but he broke it off and went back to his wife. One night, the woman noticed the wife, 31, following her home from work with the husband and their 12-year-old son in the car. The woman pulled over into the gas station, where the wife got out and started screaming at the woman, who refused to get out of her car. After the husband stopped his wife, the wife got into their truck and bumped into the woman's car three times. The woman drove off and called police. Photos were taken of the damage.
