MAN NEARLY GETS BROTHER IN TROUBLE FOR INDECENCY
A 26-year-old Westminster man was cited for suspicion of public indecency and lewd exposure at 11:10 a.m. at an apartment complex on the 3800 block of 68th Avenue. A 36-year-old woman at the complex observed a man holding his erect penis out of his boxer shorts at 11:20 p.m. April 1 when she went to dump out her trash and when she returned to her apartment. She reported the incident to the police the next day. Police contacted the manager of the apartment complex, who had the resident in her office after she had heard a complaint had been made. The resident had been involved in a car accident in which he suffered severe trauma, and his family was trying to see if he could live by himself. The man said he was not sure if he had done what had been alleged, but said it was possible, as he had been drinking with his brother that night. Police then called his brother and the two looked alike. The police called in the witness, who identified the brother as the person she saw, and the brother allegedly admitted.
