The owner of a Westminster massage business has been charged with sexually assaulting two women who came in for a therapeutic massage.
James Allen Narcy, 64, owns and operates JAN Massage at 8739 Sheridan Boulevard in Westminster. On March 20 police were called to JAN Massage after a 20-year-old female massage client reported to JAN Massage staff that she had been sexually assaulted.
The most recent victim and two of her friends went to JAN Massage after seeing a listing on Craigslist. The listing said the business offered therapeutic massage. Neither of her friends experienced anything suspicious during their massages. According to court records, the victim pushed Narcy's hands away several times, but he became more aggressive and she was afraid to do anything further.
Immediately following the massage, the victim told an employee of JAN Massage what had happened. The employee told her that this was not the first time something like this had happened. The Westminster Police Department was called and later that day Narcy was arrested.
During the Westminster Police Department's investigation they found that another woman had also reported to staff that Narcy had touched her
inappropriately during a massage, but the police were not called at that time. Two of the charges filed in this case name that second victim.
Narcy has been charged with two counts of sexual assault - medical service, each is a class four felony; sexual assault, a class four felony; and unlawful sexual contact, a class one misdemeanor.
Narcy has owned and operated JAN Massage for two years. Prior to that time the massage business operated under another name and it is believed that Narcy worked there for three years.
Narcy is currently out on $10,000 bond. He has a preliminary hearing set for April 14 at 10 a.m. in Division E of the Jefferson County Court.
