HOUSE ON 95TH PLACE RANSACKED
It was reported at approximately 5:42 p.m. April 10 that a house on the 6600 block of 95th Place was ransacked. A computer, camera, video camera, cash, watch and a couple other items were stolen, totalling at least $1,770. The reporting party said the doors and windows were locked. Neighbors said they saw a silver Jeep Cherokee parked in front of the house the day it was burglarized.
WOMAN TRIES TO DRIVE OFF, GETS DUI
A 23-year-old Broomfield woman was arrested at approximately 11:34 p.m. April 19 near 120th Avenue and Federal Boulevard on suspicion of DUI, failure to yield and no proof of insurance. Witnesses told police the driver, who caused the accident by failing to yield while making a left turn, attempted to drive off, but her car was too damaged to do so. The woman appeared intoxicated and had to catch herself from falling several times during a roadside sobriety test. She was taken to the Westminster Police Department and then to Washington House Detoxification Center.
