LIFEGUARD WINS A CAR - LEAPS FOR JOY!

When Water World lifeguard, Andrew Bodensiek showed up for his last paycheck of the season on Saturday, he had no idea he would be picking up a new car as well. The car giveaway is part of the bonus program for Water World employees, where employees earn more chances to win the car through good attendance, great customer service and for "going the extra mile." The 18-year-old CSU freshman, from Thornton, started the car with the lucky key then immediately turned the car off, exited the car, and began leaping for joy as several hundred of his fellow employees watched and joined in his celebration.

Water world hires about 1000 local teens for its summer season. Water World management says that applications for the 2010 season should be available on the website toward the end of February. All of the 2009 jobs were filled by the end of April, so those interested in a summer job are encouraged to apply early.
